These drakes are tied Klinkhamer-style and with a 2mm foam support just under the hackle.  This construction allows the shuck, abdomen, legs and part of the thorax to ride under the film, while the wing and rest of the thorax rides above the surface.  These flies are a favorite on streams where ever drakes annd hecuba's are present.  Available in sizes #10 to #12 through Snake River Angler (www.snakeriverangler.com) and Montana Fly Company (www.montanafly.com)
